Life safety is no small matter. We have taken the "mandatory courses" on life, and in order to improve employees' daily self rescue and mutual rescue abilities, popularize rescue skills, and enhance the company's medical emergency level, our company has conducted "emergency rescue skills" training.
Preventing Dengue Fever
For this event, we invited a team of doctors from Lingxia Community to give lectures. The activity combines theoretical explanations with practical operations, and medical staff explain to everyone based on daily life and emergencies.
Through training, we learned that dengue fever is an acute vector borne infectious disease caused by dengue virus, mainly transmitted through mosquito bites; Summer and autumn are peak periods, with a latent period of 3-14 days; The main symptoms are high fever, severe body pain, skin redness, rash, etc. When encountering such symptoms, it is important to seek medical attention promptly at a community hospital.
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
During the event, doctors used simulated individuals to demonstrate emergency skills such as chest compressions and artificial respiration. With hands-on guidance from doctors and nurses, as well as assistance from social workers, participants practiced cardiopulmonary resuscitation on a human model. They corrected any erroneous movements that occurred during the simulation training and provided targeted guidance.
In order to consolidate and deepen the understanding of the knowledge learned, doctors also set up a question and answer session on emergency knowledge, and participants rushed to answer questions, creating a lively atmosphere on site.
Heimlich Maneuver
The medical staff also explained the first aid for common airway foreign body obstruction based on the situation of the on-site personnel, emphasizing the scope of application and key points of action of the Heimlich emergency method.
Everyone unanimously agreed that this event was very meaningful, as it not only taught them valuable first aid knowledge, but also enhanced their confidence and ability to respond in emergency situations.
